Four screens, one swap.

Thai Honda's electric-motorbike battery-swap service — rider app, cabinet firmware, public website, and an operator back office, designed as one system.

The problem

The battery is heavy.

Mid-swap, a rider's hands are full — phone in one, a heavy pack in the other — yet the old flow still asked for taps after the cabinet opened.

What I did

  1. 01Owned the on-screen UX/UI across app, firmware, web, and back office
  2. 02Re-sequenced the swap to finish on the phone before the lift
  3. 03Kept app and cabinet firmware in one synced state
  4. 04Acted as product owner and coordinator for Thai Honda

Result

50+ cabinets, live across Bangkok.

Deployed across the metro and its suburbs by 2023, aimed at delivery riders and taxis where time is money. Honda confirmed field problems dropped after the fixes.
